The Croydon Steak House is a family run business based in Southend, Croydon. It was first opened back in 1967 and has remained a family run business ever since and Costas and Litsa Koumi have been the owners since 1978. 

The restaurant is not only favoured by meat-lovers, but also by those who enjoy fish and  other continental dishes alike because of their outstanding quality cuisine and service. Costas is the Chef who you will see flame-grilling, frying, boiling or simply just preparing your steak to order. Litsa will be serving you and ensuring that your time with us is an enjoyable one.

The King Henry - One of our Large Steaks  - Typically 750grams , but you can have it even bigger, the choice is yours!



The restaurant opens for lunch 12:00 - 14:00 and for evenings from 6:00pm until 10:30pm (last orders) Monday to Saturday. Costas and Litsa pride themselves on always using the finest quality ingredients in all that is served. Once you have tasted the wholesome food you are sure to return.

Over the past 20 years they have built up a large number of regular patrons who return again and again to taste what mother nature intended us to eat - Good quality cuisine. Whether you prefer Steak, Veal, Chicken, Fish or even vegetarian you are certain to be sated by the glorious fare. They have yet to have anyone leave the restaurant hungry.
